SSRU Cell Helps the Faculty Members
The SSRU Cell helps the faculty members of the college to analyse their performance from the students’ perspective to improve the quality of teaching and learning.
- Evaluate faculty performance through student feedback.
- Measure the satisfaction level of students regarding academic delivery.
- Provide constructive feedback to faculty for teaching improvement.
- Empower both teachers and students to collaborate in enhancing the quality of education.
- To achieve these goals, the college uses specially designed software that allows students to give feedback anonymously on five core parameters:
- Ability of faculty to explain topics clearly.
- Completion and coverage of the syllabus.
- Regularity and punctuality of the faculty.
- Communication and interaction skills.
Student Satisfaction Research Unit (SSRU) Policy
The college established the Student Satisfaction Research Unit (SSRU) Cell in the year 2003. The unit is committed to ensuring quality education and helping students achieve their academic goals. As per college policy, each faculty and department follows subject-specific marking criteria framed in alignment with the institution’s generic assessment guidelines. Feedback is collected throughout the degree programme in structured academic settings and is specifically related to teaching-learning assessments.
Activity Flow
- Notifications are circulated to schedule feedback sessions.
- Data collection is managed securely through a digital system.
- Students receive a unique login ID and password to ensure anonymity.
- Feedback reports are generated and analysed by the SSRU Cell.
- Review meetings are conducted to plan improvements based on student insights.
